Nice Crime Spree Rahm

  • Police recovered a car Monday afternoon in the Rogers Park neighborhood that was wanted in connection with 15 armed robberies overnight across the North and Northwest sides, according to Chicago police.

Officers from the Rogers Park district recovered the car Monday afternoon in the 7600 block of North Rogers Avenue. Two juvenile suspects are in custody, according to Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Chicago Police Department.

In a community alert issued Monday afternoon, police tied the string of robberies in the Albany Park, Magnolia Glen, Rogers Park and other neighborhoods to one in the Old Irving Park neighborhood the day before.
Thankfully, detailed descriptions were available for immediate release:
  • The robbers were last seen driving a 2005 dark-colored Nissan Sentra with a spoiler on the back. Its license plate was Q817490, police said. The Sentra was reported stolen this past Friday in the 6100 block of North Broadway in the Edgewater Glen neighborhood, Chicago police said.

The robbers were described as males in their late teens or early 20s; police did not release detailed descriptions of any of them.
Seriously, there was a better description of the car rather than the robbers.

And technology pitched in!
  • Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said officers on patrol were using devices that automatically read license plates to try to find the robbers. The robbers appear to be targeting random victims, and it was unclear to police why the incidents took place in Albany Park, Johnson said.
Um, because there aren't any police around up there? And the plate reader technology is great if your driving around and have no idea what might be stolen. How about you look out the window and look for a dark-colored Nissan for starters? If you happen to run across a few vanilla steals in the meantime, recover them as you go. Your eyes should be looking for a Nissan with guys with guns. Don't rely on the computer.

And Special Ed wants to be an FTO?

Now mind you, we came into a rap and we got to leave with a rap. The lucky taxpayers. The hood rats know we're short of help and will take advantage of it all summer. Maybe they can make Old Irving Park and Sauganash a VRI Box. You own a 1.5 million dollar house and pay all those property taxes and you call 911 and an hour or more elapses before a car gets to you. BTW, did you write any parkers and the Wiley Rasputin wants to know if you did any ISR's. This summers going to be a treat! The raps should last for days at a time. Seriously, is there a segment of this city that the little guy from Wilmette is not failing? It's seriously funny. Of course, I do feel for the victims, but....who is this moron? If he didn't have such a tight lid on the media, he would have been voted out in 2015. And for all of you assholes who say "oh, wull, Chuy didn't have a plan..." Bullshit.

i get what your saying about the tech but it really does help when it comes to catching hot cars or plates you didnt get due to obstructions or because your just getting old.
I do agree, you should be well round because are tech only last for a moment before it breaks down due to expired service contracts and purchasing the cheapest version.
We have to remember the generation coming on the job doesnt know how to do anything without a computer or smart phone. Type_WHAT_writer?? rip out a carbon WHAT? Flip over the paper WHAT report? if there isnt a button for it, they are clueless. Just look at the registers at the fast food places... they actually have a picture of the item on the register screen like a Fisher Price toy, so the employee can place and ring up the order. SMH
But you cant blame them, when LEADs, clear, or aira goes down, the station stands still and nothing gets done until it comes back up, unless you have some experienced officers working the desk.
remember when we applied and passed the tests, they were looking for people that actually had the knack for this job, not people to just fill a gender or racial statistic!

ps. Downhill from here

I wonder when this will come to Chicago since they set the precedent:

https://www.fastcompany.com/40546112/police-are-asking-google-to-provide-user-data-for-all-people-near-crime-scenes

so if you’re by a crime scene and all of them have their cell phones they could be forced to turn over all data from the cell phone which would also help catch the killer or the criminals because many of them stay close to the crime scene to watch what happens I want to text back-and-forth I would reveal a lot except that the privacy rights would be gone I guess it will be better just to get a to go phone we can just throw it away and have no information on who the owner is? But would that work ?

Remember when they he dispatcher wouldn't say "get your crayon out" before giving you 3-4 jobs. Now everything is "put it on the box squad, we'll get to it after our positive community interactions" and my favorite is when some young copper says "can you put a lunch ticket behind that?" That part of Rogers Park is notorious for crime. Right around the Howard Red Line station, they call it "The Juneway Jungle." The neighborhoods just south of there are decent: you have Loyola, Andersonville, Edgewater. There's not much crime in Andersonville, though they have their share of bums who panhandle the people shopping or eating/drinking along Clark Street. Most of the crime is farther east, near the Red Line.

I have developed a very practical "The Chicago Club" - that consists of a stiff rubber hose, and metal fish eye as a handle and a place to hold keys for locks (officer asks "what's that in your bag"? "it's so I have my bike and warehouse locks in one place").

This "Chicago Club" is perfect for giving a non lethal, non bone breaking beating to teen punks who have done robberies, assaulted the elderly, sexually harassed, fondled girls etc.

It's similar to the "rubber hoses" once used by socialist government forces in Eastern Europe when EE was dominated by the Soviet Union.

This Chicago Club would be ideal for neighborhood adult respected guy - retired military, traditional Christians from the South, Nuns etc.

The choice isn't between doing nothing and all of us getting CCWs to kill the perps.

A good old fashion Southern "Wuppin'" with our The Chicago Club or with a belt - this is something that most Southerners Black and White support and they are astonished we in Chicago let these younguns run wild in our Chicago.

That there's no women on this team or that team, or not a lot of women on it doesn't really mean jack shit except that they didn't make the grade and get on the team for whatever reason.

Instead of whining, crying, stamping their feet and yelling "IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!!!!", how about reviewing WHERE they fell short, and then work to come up to par during the next attempt. You know, like a reasonable person would do. "Hi Jim, this is Jane. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to interview me. I realize I didn't make the cut, I'd still enjoy being on the team. Where can I do better so if I apply next time, I'll be a more viable candidate?"

You know, something like that? OR, be a whiny bitch and file a bullshit lawsuit like the street urchins that abound in the City...

The Bleeding of Chicago - The twist in the Chicago murder narrative How Chicago's Trauma Care Changed its Murder Rate

https://www.citylab.com/equity/2018/02/the-bleeding-of-chicago/554141/

Homicides trending down total number of shootings trending up Eddie Johnson and CPD's bullshit about this or that new initiative is just that BULLSHIT. It's the ER staffs that are bringing the homicide rate down not CPD. There are more people getting shot than ever

<>
Take 1995, when guns accounted for 73 percent of all homicides in Cook County. There were 995 total slayings. Fast forward to 2015, and there were 604 killings, with guns accounting for a larger proportion—84 percent—of them. The homicide toll during that 20-year span was lowest in 2013: 536 killings, with guns making up 80 percent of them, or 430 homicides.

But while homicides by firearms went down over that stretch—by 30 percent overall—shootings do not appear to follow the same pattern. The annual number of Chicago-area gunshot victims who survived and were discharged from the county’s hospitals bounced up and down, starting with 677 in 1995* and ending at 870 in 2015, according to hospital inpatient discharge records.

hahaha

BIG EFF-ING DEAL

When's the rest of the story come out when they are released on I-bond and where's that story gonna be published? Shhhhh. Rahm Emanuel code of silence doesn't only include not publishing carjacking events Fuck you'll make the carjacking task force look bad. People will conjure up images of the bullshit is not working.

Oh but the offenders are facing this felony and that felony and are in big trouble. Yeah right like the Facebook kidnappers and torture of the mentally ill man. What did they face and what did they get?!

Are you new here?

The perpetual racial grievants of Chicago's
south and west sides and their sjw/white guilt
addled enablers have been screaming for years
about how "We refuse to be satisfied unless
da Poleece look (think/act/reason/relate/respond)
like US an' we get to come up in Y'all naybahood
an' be jennacidin' y'all like y'all been jennacidin' US!
DEFUN'DA POLEECE AN' GIVES DEY MONEY TO US!"

Rahm, Kim "My Peoples an' Folkses Revenge" Foxx,
Toni "Sir/Ma'am" Prickwrinkle, the Chicago City Council,
local media, the aclu, #blm, Obama DOJ hold-overs,
IPRA/COPA and the usual swing-dicks/hang-tits are doing
ALL in their power to make "Tha Communerty's" fervent
wish come true.

...And you taxpayers are complaining about your
paid for share of Police coverage drying up and
blowing away, thus leaving you naked and afraid
in the face of Dude Inc. migrating from their
Police-rich traditional hunting and breeding
grounds to hunt YOU?

Just you wait until Rahm REALLY gets scared
of being bounced out onto his narrow ass.

Then watch him flee to D.C. or New Yuck
like the craven bitch he is.

Reactive policing can work. In fact, that is the basis of all law enforcement duties, as a criminal is not a criminal until he/she commits a violation of law.

And it would, and does, work, except where catch & release, slap on the wrist, day for day consequences, repeat offenders effectively treated as first timers, etc., all inanities generously doled out to the very recipients to whom it would, and must, not be, were this nonsense not so in fashion in all the expected localities.....

Where there is no MAGA, there can be no peace, no actual as safe as humanly possible, nor freedom from fear & apprehension concerning becoming the victim of a crimnal's chosen actions.

Thus, in those localities where MAGA is substantially absent, each individual becomes his/her own enforcer of natural law.......

MAGA is life.

No MAGA is shit existence.

The evidence can be denied, but the reality of experience proves the point, succinctly.

Side benefit is those eliminated will not be drawing government checks and fathering any more pos benefit dependent offspring. Win win in my book. Start the cleansing tomorrow.

Your subtlety level may have been set too high, relative to your linguistic capabilities.

Thus, this misadjusted ratio resulted in a missed opportunity of the success of your intended sarcasm.

So, ya squeezed off a squib......it happens.

It's not like you intended to do it.

I suggest you reassess your confidence in your liguinstic capabilities or decrease your tendency toward being too subtle.

I know.....it will take a few shots to zero your cross hairs.....it always does......

(In the spirit of mercy, I will admit to the trap thus set, IF, and only if, you can spot it.)
