Federal Judiciary Infected
One of the more heinous executions in history brings a lot of heat - Federal heat. And that means Federal charges:
- Federal authorities have accused a Chicago man of helping bring to the city the weapon used in the execution-style killing of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee.
Anthony Morgan, 31, faces four gun charges in a federal indictment filed last week.
He appeared Monday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Cole, where a prosecutor revealed the connection to the child’s killing.
Authorities said Morgan paid for seven illegally obtained firearms that were shipped through the mail by an unnamed associate in New Mexico. Assistant U.S. Attorney James Durkin said one of those, a Smith & Wesson .40-caliber pistol, was used to kill Tyshawn — an act he called “one of the most heinous crimes we’ve seen in this city in years.”
No argument there. But then why this?
- The prosecutor tried to convince Cole to keep Anthony Morgan locked up Monday, but [Judge] Cole put him on home detention. He also agreed to let Anthony Morgan go back to his job at the U.S. Postal Service, where his mother also works. The judge assigned Morgan’s mother to act as a third-party custodian.
This jagoff is a gun-runner who brought at least two murder weapons into the city, probably more. And he's on "home detention." Does this home have concrete walls? Bulletproof glass? Underground parking? Because we wouldn't give a nickel for his life expectancy right about now, and the gangs have long memories.

You guys think he'll get much time? Statistics say he'll get almost no time. We have all these laws the left decries about, but they never actually prosecute any one for them. I really hope they throw him up the river. Quite frankly due to violating what has to be dozens of laws around shipping guns (GCA 68) besides the transfers he should get canned from the USPS immediately.
Said part of reality living in Chicago, people who did nothing wrong getting killed also. I see so many good people becoming victims. My prayers to the family of these two working men.
The city went to shit a while back. It's only going to get uglier as more good people move out.

Federal pen ain't bad... I dated a girl who got locked up in the federal pen in Michigan. I am not associating with her like a friend, more of the Joe Pesci in Casino kinda role today.😘😘😘 come on I met here years before she got locked up for IRS crap.

That judge got BEAT! Huge shock, but a neighborhood public safety group kept posting articles on FB every time she released offenders — some who used guns — and pointed she chose to go lockstep with the Chief judge and Prickwinkle instead of listening to her constituents. Opps.
The federal judiciary has been corrupted. Obama’s put in many diehard SJWs. Read about all the appointees and their history and legislative decisions. Scary stuff that will continue to “fundamentally change America.”
