Where Did They Go?

Whenever we post about low bails in Cook County or mention the hundreds of missing criminals on Electronic Monitoring, someone invariably says, "There ought to be a website that tracks all these missing criminals. SCC, get on that!"

(We find it amusing that people are willing to volunteer our already limited time for something they are unwilling to expend the effort on.)

But someone is making the effort - the Crime in Boystown and Wrigleyville blog:
  • About six months ago, we published our very first story about people accused of committing crimes in our area who had skipped bail and gone missing.

Well, our list of bail-skippers has grown significantly since then, so it's apparently time for an update.

With Cook County Chief Judge Timothy Evans ordering judges to lower bail amounts to something defendants can afford, we expect to continue seeing many more people going AWOL than in the past.

The following information about persons missing on bail reflects court clerk information on January 5, 2018.
We aren't going to steal their content, so click the link up top and give them your internet traffic. Obviously, their efforts are centered around the neighborhoods they serve, which happen to be a politically active neighborhood with many willing to donate to causes and politicians. Hopefully the CWB blog efforts demonstrate to the citizens how poorly served they are by the Cook County criminal justice system.

I read that blog daily to learn things they fail to mention in roll call. I don't like that they got rid of the comments.

Not a cop but this sickens me. I just now sent a email to several alderfools, realizing it will just vanish. Maybe I should have attached a paypal campaign contribution to it. I Bond for selling coke? Caught after skipping bail but no penalty? This is the jail from 7 years ago. You paid the price for this bullshit. Now, according to your earlier post, if the jail is being emptied, then why is the budget increasing? Can someone with juice show this to the fucking governor or one of the other assholes running and get a comment? This is public fucking safety. I also sent this to the local news outlets especially Pam on CBS since she loves to jam up cops on parking.

Mr. Jones, the doctor will see you now.
So now you're telling me you arrest criminals,
they get bonded out with GPS devices, then
disappear. Let's see, you've told me about
various work conditions that are wrecking your
health, family life, and happiness.
Mr. Jones, I don't see any chains.
Your peers have a venting blog, but change
of career is not permitted as a topic or solution.
Mr. Jones, you and your peers are engaging in
self-destructive conduct. Why do you pay me every
two weeks?

Retired here from the county, was in GPS/ E.M. unit...besides the 1000s missing, picked up, only to be re released, again on either GPS (for DV restraining order violators), or on E.M. , how bout the costs, for all the damaged, broken, and simply missing bracelets, and boxes. Ive see court orders, for "phone checks only" released...and opps, their phone is no longer in service....thats a violation...nope, just note it on defendants next court date.

It's a shame such a once great city has been turned over to the criminals. All cities have a crime problem, but only democrat controlled cities castrate their Police Departments in an effort to "fight crime".

Kind of explains why democrats would rather kneel and bow before North Korea instead of stand up to them. Democrats have no balls!

SCC, you're doing an excellent job, have for over a decade and according to this:

http://www.rasmussen.edu/degrees/justice-studies/blog/law-enforcement-blogs-keep-police-officers-up-to-date/ you are #12 in USA. Not bad, but "if you could do more." (sarcasm)

Honestly, how many times have we all heard "if I was you...." Well, you're not.
SCC. You are doing an A+ bang up job. It's where many come for truth. You must be doing something right.

NOT ILLINOIS. NOT LAW.

Remember what Toni Tax Prickwinkle said "There are too many black and brown men behind bars". Well I guess she tells The Pooch Chief Judge "Lowball" Evans and Sheriff Tommy "let em go" Dart what to do. The thing that I laugh at is that it doesn't seem to bother the black community and by that they are showing just how dumb they really are. These criminals are not coming out to the white neighborhoods they are going right back to the black neighborhoods to commit more crime and violence. The only time the non ghetto feels the effect is when the criminal finds the CTA Red Line North to the "easy Pickens" of the loop and River West neighborhoods which are policed by the non police police and recruits who are non-police police.
Vote republican, save your job save your family.

It's just reality that gays do a lot of things better than struggling working class Chicagoans who don't have the time or interest in going to block medias, figuring out how to elect aldermen and ward committee members etc.

White gays were the first to do urban gentrification, now others are giving it a go and lots of former brutal violent ghetto neighborhoods in central city are being reclaiming - places like River Front Detroit, the Over the Rhine area of Cincinnati (scene of some Black riots in the 80s).

It's reality that American central cities are being reclaimed and they will be safer, more prosperous, Whiter than formerly industrial suburbs or small towns like Ferguson MO were the underclass is being moved out by Section 8. The Lib Dems go for this because these Section 8 transplants are making formerly solid Red State GOP places, competitive. Virginia has gone Blue state, the Lib Leftist think they can tip large parts of Texas.

The destitute jobless, albeit violent criminal is Entitled to affordable bonding.
Makes sense to a Democrat.

Cook County reviewing a program that will issue a LINKswipe card that allows the itinerate criminal to go to the nearest Divvy Community Ankle Monitor, RedBox, Needle Exchange, Condom and Bike Kiosk and get their devices, at their convenience within 10 days of release and returned (optional) after the customary SOL... what the northside calls a Luckman.

SCC, you have too see this. I went to school with Dart, his family was very wealthy. He claims to remember rouge cops in the 80's. He's an expert now for the BGA on bad police officers. You cant make this up.

Sheriff Dart says he remembers rogue cops roaming the streets in the 80's.. Only problem is Tom Dart was a rich white teenager in the 80's living in Beverly..

Sheriff Dart claims in his late teens/early twenties he remembers bad cops roaming the streets. Does Tom Dart not remember he grew up rich in a nice neighborhood?

The BGA interviews Sheriff Dart as an expert witness on bad police officers..

Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart. “I remember back in the ’80s even, this was happening. Where you had officers bouncing around different departments, and they weren’t necessarily the best officers … It’s not good, it’s not good.”

As every P.O. knows. If you are the commanders guy or IN THE CAPS office rules don’t apply. This is a joke that a commander is there and
Is t even aware of this or condones the violation. Only the best and the brightest

last time I called one in the ASA said 2-3 times it was a weak case, he sort of paused each time like it was my turn to say yeah you're right and change my mind.

well he approved it and I went to the prelim and judge ruled it a finding. it's such a joke. a clear felony is weak in cook county but valid in any other place.
