Look Who Grew a Set

  • As the U.S. Justice Department asks Chicago to address deep flaws in police officers' use of force, a group of aldermen is accusing Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Law Department of enabling the misconduct and is asking federal authorities to investigate.

The City Council's Progressive Caucus sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch last week, asking her to launch a federal review of the Law Department's federal civil rights litigation division, which has been sanctioned eight times during Emanuel's tenure for withholding possible evidence in police misconduct lawsuits, which it defends.

"It looks as if the cover-up extends not only to leadership of the Police Department but to the corporation counsel and our lawyers as well," Ald. Roderick Sawyer, 6th, said in an interview. "I don't want that to happen."
Of course, there's no danger in asking Lynch to launch an investigation since she's gone this Friday. Having balls would be writing to Jeff Sessions to come into Chicago and investigate Rahm's Law Department, which has a checkered history of concealing evidence, suppressing videos and approving settlements prior to lawsuits even being filed.

I hope Sessions comes to Chicago with a REAL task force.

Wouldn't it be something for Chicago to be put under the microscope by a whole team of Good Ol' Boys from the South?

Justice!?!? We'll git Justice - and everyone else who's guilty of corruption!

Next case.

Just listened to McCarthy on philoreilly.com podcast. He lays it all out very well. Steve Patton led a coverup for Rahm of LM shooting. CPD is not performance driven like NYPD. but is politics driven; for the benefit of the protected classes. His firing was never explained to him by Rahm. He knows his removal best serves Rahm as a political diversion from blaming Rahm and Steve Patton. Oh, and Patton represented the City with DOJ vis a vis the report which is a conflict of interest. Patton can't both try to coverup the LM shooting and then pronounce the CPD as the problem to DOJ. Is this why the alderman are going after the Law dept.? Are McCarthy's remarks getting him the Sandi Jackson divorce subpoena treatment. I'm inclined to say yes to both. I honestly hope to hear more from McCarthy. He's cogent, honest, and cares about CPD/Chicago. Where's he been hiding this McNormal side? He's very pessimistic about stopping the murder surge because we have no crime strategy, only a political strategy. Sobering to listen to.

Now all the future mayoral candidates are posturing for the next election. They can smell the fear at city hall! Do you think that rahm, who has been pandering for votes, will be getting their support? He just doesn't realize that Chicago votes by/for race. It's in these mutts DNA.
They will take whatever he takes from us and gives to them but if they have a candidate, he's the loser. Real Chicago values.

YES!
A thousand times over!
YES!

Country-boy prosecutors and judges do NOT mess around
with the LAW and JUSTICE!

Saw it first hand when Traffic Court was on LaSalle St.

It was summer so there were some visiting judges from
DEEP downstate filling in.

The judge in our room?
WHOOOO!

"This is your (exponential number of a sort)
continuance... After y'all plea guilty, which we
ALL know you are, will y'all be prepared to pay
your fine or go to jail?"

>SQUEAK!<

The balloon knots of EVERY defendant in that
courtroom suddenly tightened.

They got even tighter when the first idiots
stood in front of Your Honor and tried to
play the Bullshit Game with him.

Only to be remanded to court custody and
dragged away by the deputies.

Police sittin' in front just a grinnin'...
Deputies whistling a merry tune as they
dragged crying ass after crying ass to
the back.

And m/fers running to find an ATM...

And when the call was cleared, almost
every Copper stopped to shake the judge's hand.

The judge, being the southern gentleman he was,
was a very warm and cordial guy who of course
extended a "Y'all come down and see us," and
he meant it.

Our shame and regret that we have forgotten
this man's name and the town he was from
but Dear Lord, did he make an impression.

Jeff Sessions for USAG and the oppressed
and put-upon Policeman may have the joy
of seeing some dirty, criminal, treasonous
big city progressives get their necks
stretched or spend the rest of their lives
in federal prison.

McCarthey knows he has nothing else to lose, it seems. It kinda seems like he was a yes man, did what he was told, and now Rahm wants to hang the corruption around his neck to escape his own responsibility. Imagine that - a politician making a scapegoat out of the cops. Ya know, it is almost like a lot of us have been trying to tell you cops that for man years, while you just kept right on supporting the union that kept right on supporting the corrupt Democrats. Don't get me wrong, please, as,I bear witness to cops in CPD and even all over the country making great strides right the wrong so long engaged in. But the truth has to be told - ALL of fit. McCarthey may well come out of this looking very very very bad, he may see no way out, so really, like I said, he has nothing to lose.

It is my hope that all cops see that and hear that and understand that the only thing you all have left now to lose is your own lives. And for what? ? ? For Rahm and other politicians? For more pension promises if you just keep grabbing those ticket books by the dozen and wait for the "next" contract? They screwed you guys! They always intended to screw you guys and girls too!. You know what screws them the most? You all telling the truth about it all. I know the truth vindicates almost all cops! We can still repair what is broken, if we do it together. We the People alongside our police forces, standing against the corrupt politicians once and for all. Why do ya think they call em "charges"? Cuz to them it is all about the money, mang. Tell the truth and it will return to being about policing, and that right there is what we all want in the first place, ain't it?

Progressive caucus, another joke.
No word on any investigations into shady aldermanic dealings.
Not enough were jailed yet for corruption to warrant such.

I wrote a ticket to a mope named "James Brown" once and he would never show.

Much to the amusement of even the judge, when his name would be called, I did my best imitation of "I feel good" and every single time the whole court would crack up. I also had a Vincent Price going on for months at the same time but never could figure a fun way to deal with that guy.
