Nuclear Physicist Beats 94 Year Old
We don't know how much of a threat a 94-year-old woman is, but some of those elderly people can be cantankerous:
- Police are looking for a man who allegedly beat a 94-year-old woman, stole her purse and took off in a stolen vehicle before crashing it in Chicago's Garfield Ridge neighborhood.
The victim's daughter, Judy Dusk, said her mother, Josephine Regnier, is a World War II Navy veteran.
Dusk said she was waiting for one of her daughters outside her building in the 5100-block of South Long Avenue to pick her up to go to the dentist when she was attacked around 11:50 a.m. Wednesday. Police said a man pushed Regnier into the hallway of her building.
"This man just came in the gangway and assaulted her, beat the **** out of her, took her purse and ran," Dusk said.
Channel 7 breaks with tradition and actually describes the suspect, probably because there was video and they couldn't think of a good reason to suppress it. A local restaurant is offering a $5,000 reward.

Why don't a large group of people of all colors get together and protest at 63rd and California; the area where the car was stolen from? "Old White Ladies Lives Matter." They can carry signs with this guy's photo on them. They can stop traffic, and block the doorways of all the businesses so they can show the photo until someone gives him up. Block the streets, the chip shops, and the liquor stores down there. Make a lot of noise, wake them all up over there and disrupt their sleep, their lives and their routines until they give up this animal.

Just got XL pizza from Villa Rosa well worth it. Was talking to copper in there works at Midway about this, he said they have low manpower but quite a few bosses. I asked him how many squad cars they have he said we have 6 total including unmarked for the lieutenant spot that has been vacant for months. So we talked the consensus was that the airport could use more coppers and they could put up 5 cars per watch if they had manpower and these cars could do a 3 mile radius of the airport (which would just about cover 10 sector) with additional manpower. So it's a winning situation the coppers would want to keep that spot and actually do work. The management is already in place, the vehicles ready, it would be a great asset to the booming airport extra cars on the perimeter, the airlines pay billions already in fees and security on every person flying that superintendent and commander Ron is winning why not? Like the airport guy said we work Cta and help out the schools with closings and we provide extra patrols use the tools we already have. Most coppers are management why not assign some younger aggressive coppers and really show mr mayor you care about the airport and people that live around it!
Who will be the lieutenant next? Hope this idea is implemented the airport commander likes these ideas he is a working copper his whole career how about it Irish?

Why do you keep saying "voting straight democratic"? We usually have two choices, vote the democrat in or don't vote. Why don't you organize another party to run against these mutts? Instead of bitching and blaming us, you do something? Don't you think that other parties would run if they thought they had a chance of winning, and not just pissing money away knowing that they are out numbered by the automatic democratic vote? That is a great idea, talked to a copper from O'Hare he said he would not work there due to the size but Midway is only 1 mile square how about it Ed? The 1st lives out this way come on Kevin take a chance make the move!
