- Former Chicago comptroller Amer Ahmad has been extradited from Pakistan, nearly nine months after he was sentenced in absentia for his role in a kickback scheme at the state treasurer’s office in Ohio, federal authorities said Wednesday night.
Ahmad was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison in December 2014 after pleading guilty to bribery and conspiracy charges. But he fled to Pakistan to avoid punishment, where he remained jailed on immigration violations.
On Wednesday, Ahmad was extradited from Pakistan and flown to Columbus, Ohio, where he will appear for a hearing before U.S. District Court Judge Michael H. Watson at 10 a.m. Friday, according to Eric Gibson, a U.S. Justice Department trial lawyer who helped prosecute Ahmad.
Maybe someone can ask Amer how he managed to land the job in Chicago while under federal investigation in Ohio? Or would that be asking too much of the "watchdogs" Rahm has on a tight leash?

You can go to jail for "immigration violations"? Strange that he was hired by a "sanctuary city" before fleeing prosecution from what is essentially a "sanctuary nation," and the only way the Feds got ahold of him for prosecution is that another nation actually enforced its immigration laws.

It's an exercise in spin and busy-ness that stinks no matter what Rahm says/does.
Plus it cost Taxpayers some $850,000 to pay for an Audit to assure the City that this Thief did not steal money from Chicago. This Thief was the City Comptroller. How do you like that??? That's a pretty good one. What's next..Oh yeah...Rahm is gonna have the Redmoon Group spend countless thousands of dollars to float a few boxes in the River again and 'Burn Them'. Do we comprehend???....'Burn Them'. Only in Chicago. If we came up with this stupid idea...we'd be ridiculed and a laughing stock. We could liken Rahm's OK to burn boxes to that of wanting to burn our pension money. Seems that's what he is doing.

The article failed to mentioned that prior to his arrival back in the US his tongue had been surgically removed. This medical procedure will be covered by the city of Chicago wellness program at the behest of Rahmulus 9.5.
Now that Ferguson got rid of the crooked staff in his department, his hands are not tide and Rahm has nothing to attack Ferguson on.

He should have been sent to a Pakistani jail. I am certain that living conditions in a Pakistani jail are much worse than a jail in America. American jails are like heaven. Good food, air conditioned, heated during winters, running water, a toilet, a shower, soap, shampoo, etc.
I'd rather sit in a US slammer for 15 years than spend life in Pakistan.

When Andy Shaw head of the Bga was asked about this case he stated they were busy working on a case of a garbage man taking and extra 15 minute break each day. Otherwise they would have been all over it.
When asked for comment about Amer Lisa Madigan stated I'm sorry we don't handle terrorism cases only corruption.

Thats the big thing a lot of these moron politico's are missing in the good olde USA.
Other Countries ENFORCE their Immigration Laws. I went to England back in the mid-90's.... My passport was stamped: "6 month visitor, No Work Permit". I go to Canada every few months to hunt with family up there.....Customs on the Canadian side pays attention. US ICE staff just use the dogs to sniff for Cuban Cigars and other drugs. Getting Into Mexico is a piece of cake...IF you got ID and money to pay the crossing fee they now charge.
You want to make a difference in this city and piss off Toni and Rahm legally?
95% of you street cops got to know SOMEONE at I.C.E by now....you bust an illegal...call your buddy...they get the book and take them to federal lockup at the FBI building or where ever it is now.
