Gee, Not the "Most" Corrupt

Like it's a badge of honor of something, only being in the top 5:
  • We all know that corruption is common in Illinois government and costs each taxpayer more than $1,300 a year, but there is some good news — it could be worse, according to a new study.

A new study from Harvard University’s Center for Ethics shows that Kentucky and New Jersey have a worse ranking than Illinois in the "legal corruption" category for the executive branch.

When it comes to "illegal corruption," the study finds it's also "very common" in Illinois' legislative branch
Maybe they're just not looking hard enough.

We're actually 2nd most corrupt in the legal category. I'm sure the report itself is corrupt given the left wing nature of Harvard. No doubt we would easily be #1 in both categories if they didn't mind embarrassing their messiah, B.O.

Maybe not the most corrupt, but definitely the "worst-run" - http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/12/04/247-wall-st-best-worst-run-states/19879297/

Thanks for nothing, Madigan and company.

But than how much do you trust anything out of Harvard University? Not much if you have any sense.

"in the 'legal corruption' category for the executive branch."

Ummm.... let's not toot our own horn just yet. State executive branch???

That omits a whole slew of corruption convictions. William Beavers and so many others don't exactly fall under the state executive branch, and we know how much corruption there is in Cook County, Chicago, Madison County and elsewhere.

This study looks at such a small sliver of corruption that we may well still be "first" when the overall picture is taken into account.

From the study: "In Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, and New Mexico legal corruption is perceived to be common not only in the executive and legislative branches but also in the judicial branch."

So apparently we don't rank first when it comes to executive corruption, but we do come in first when totals are scored across the board.

Nice job, Illinois. We may show or place in the individual events, but we take gold when it comes to the all-around competition.

And Every working Taxpayer In Illinois pays for this.

If the corruption was stopped, there would be more than enough money for pensions, raises, and more police.

The ONLY reason Illunois is not the most corrupt, is because ALL the crimes committed by the DALEY FAMILY are considered legal, I.e. murder of David Koschmann, theft of pension funds, real estate zoning law, sewer contracts, and the skimming of the parking meter lease.
Why dosen't the FBI (forever being incompetant) investigate which two Chicago Democrats were given multi-million dollar penthouses in the 130 N Garland Court free of charge??? HINT: One of them used to live at 3320 S Emerald and the other used to eat dog in Indonesia.

I recently saw an article talking about the best run and worst run states in the nation. We nailed that one.... Illinois was listed as the worst run state in the entire country.
Our thieving politicians oughta be proud we're in top 5 of most corrupt and we're número uno as the worst run state in the nation.
How come this shit doesn't come up every time these thieving, lying politicians demand pension reform?

I would like to offer a piece of advice to some patrol supervisors; before you go puffing your chest out to a detective and stating the following " I am a sergeant, lieutenant or captain" and demanding something, you might want to open the law book or read the general order to ensure you are right, it might save you some embarrassment. A detective has 48 hours to charge a case, you are not to interfere or impede the investigation, you may offer assistance but nothing more. It is the detectives investigation, not yours! If you have an issue with the detective, contact the appropriate area supervisor for clarification. A detective division supervisor will always trump a patrol supervisor. Not saying the detective division is better, but saying we do a different type of job that most supervisors don't understand, unless you were a detective. So stop being insecure and hiding behind your probably merit promotion and let's work together, were on the same team!!

Al " No Goodie" is at it again . At a recent supervisor meeting he told a Lieutenant to shut up after she was told
That if any of her subordinates failed to bring in activity they would have to submit a to-from why they have none . Her question was " is there anything in the general orders to force this ? Her punishment was that she would be there everyday from 1600 hours until midnight check off and personally conduct check off.
This is coming from a commander who took $100 from every foot person in 001 after the Summer was over. Al just leave the drawer open . Like the good old days !!!!! Democracy ????
