Happy Thanksgiving

A safe and happy holiday to all our readers. Hopefully, even the on-duty guys and gals got a little turkey and stuffing before or after work, a pot-luck set up among co-workers, or even an appreciative local establishment. Posting will be sporadic/delayed as we nap after football.

SQUAD PROGRAM FUCKING SUCKS!

- Never same sgt.

- no cars available

- r.a.p. is now everyday

- no beat integrity, no one knows about the beat they are working.

- response times increased. often cars sent from corners of district, well of the beat.

- A fucking cluster-fuck idea!

- Not allowed to change d.o.g.

- Partners burnt out with each other because of no 3 man rotation. Many bad break ups.

- Stuck only to work with people in squad.

-citizens lose police presence. mission teams no help...no answer calls....no do nothing....

-burglary team bids midnights only to be allowed to work days but gets kick ass furlough due to midnight status. WTF!

-fop originally said we have a "drop dead" date of the end of the 13th period for the squad pilot program. Is that true? The department says nothing......or is the beginning date of the "squad" program the first date of the first period. Lets see what happens if it becoming citywide ....probably lose the city to domestic terrorists.

Put us back together and see police work at its best.

END THIS FUCKING SQUAD PROGRAM!

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-cook-county-judge-reassigned-met-20141126-story.html

I've been in her call a few times and thought she ran the call exactly as it should be: with no nonsense and respect for procedure and purpose of a criminal courtroom. She is singled out simply because she found defendants in contempt at a higher rate than other judges? Methinks the other judges need to up their game.

This is not easy for me to say. But I will try my best. In the past six months I have gone through some personal issues with the health of my family members. Life is not easy when such curve balls are thrown. But I am thankful for the family and friends who helped me out. Thank you very much.

I'm thankful for lazy CPS employees who don't take the time to thoroughly check things out. Case in point, the link on Prosser Academy High School's website to say goodbye to cop hater and abuser, former principal Kenneth Leon Hunter. On the link, you'll find a goodbye in Spanish, take the time to translate it to English with GOOGLE translator, you'll LOVE IT!!!

This was real nice FU to a guy who used POs as his own personal cabana boys.

Oh. It's absolutely true. What we keep getting told over and over and over again, I mean.

Illegal aliens (excuse me, I mean "Dreamers," as our Mayor has renamed them) really will do jobs that Americans won't.

...like lighting off the hammers and drills and power saws and yelling back and forth, gutting the place next door at 7 AM sharp on Thanksgiving morning.

Muchas gracias, Senores. We were sound asleep, one of us full of medication for a painful injury. We had hoped to have a reasonable day, but...

Good to know that employers are being offered a $3,000/head Obamabonus for hiring these guys ahead of everyone else.

Have a sugar skull on me.

Despite everything, thank you for putting on the uniform and badge and going out there.

I don't know where we would all be if y'all didn't do that without fail.

1.--Squad policing hasn't worked the last three times it's been tried. NYPD & LAPD have also tried it on several occasions......all failures.

2.--The judge's brother is a CPD officer. As for her contempt citations, it's her courtroom and if she tells shithead to pull up his songs and he won't,,,,oh well. I've seen judges hold people in contempt for wearing shorts, TShirts, sweats, etc

This morning, I woke up and was thankful I woke up. Everything else is a gift.
In 2005, I was diagnosed with an 'incurable', degenerative disease. None of you know that. I didn't want to be the disease; I just wanted to be me, so I went to work every day while undergoing an experimental, sometimes difficult, treatment.

Today, I'm retired. And totally healthy. And making an effort to enjoy and appreciate every day, because every day I got back is a gift.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Ferguson documents:

http://apps.stlpublicradio.org/ferguson-project/evidence.html

No conspiracy here. Great reading of a great investigation. They even talk about "safety" at the scene of the incident and witnesses afraid to speak to the police about what they saw, but being willing anyways.

Thanks to those good witnesses who told the truth. I hope the government provides them housing somewhere else.

Could it be that the rioting and destruction of businesses that followed the police shooting in Ferguson, was actually a coordinated attempt by Brown's fellow gang members to destroy any video footage that may have captured the incident?

Read the transcripts in which some of the businesses that had video surveillance were destroyed before the video could be downloaded. This is only a hypothesis, but would not surprise me.

http://www.documentcloud.org/documents/1370562-14-43984-care-main.html

Only 200 pages but a quick, informative read.

I found this on Facebook:
"A letter to my fellow Americans regarding Ferguson"

Well written, well thought out and probably in line with many, many people.
Thanks to all LEO's for all that you do. Stay safe and may God bless you all.

Not a cop, but an appreciative citizen.

Yo, SCC. Despite all the bitching you wake up to--

Have a great one with the family and friends. You're the best.

Gonna have me another nice Burgundy now as it gets dark, the snow squalls coming in and out.

Stay safe, all, God Bless -- and very special prayers for our hard-put-upon brothers and sisters...

Tell me about it. Like the man said to me once, "If you knew what tomorrow would bring you'd give up right now."

God's blessing upon you and yours this peaceful Thanksgiving evening. Often the real "need" isn't burning s__t in the street and yelling -- all you see is a light go on at 3 AM, then go off again a while later...

Right there with ya.

According to ABC News just now, ALL SIX ITEMS PROSCRIBED TO ORDINARY CITIZENS AS BEING "UNHEALTHY" - you've heard the kicking resulting from the Michelle O. school menus -- are being freely served out at the White House Thanksgiving dinner. Banana cream pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie...

I have none of these things. There is a nice can of Thai or Filiipino tropical fruit chilling for later. $1.00.

I may yet outlive the big-assed ruling class in "clinging to my guns and religion," at this rate.

You mortally insulted us a long time back and we are never going to forget it. Now here is your larger-than-life face beaming "best wishes" into my home; I have no intention of further injuring myself lunging for the button to shut you off. I just howl at the -- "hypocrisy?"

You are apparently personally unarmed, and have no metaphysical basis upon which to operate. That lack of moral fibre and of steadfast conviction about good and evil make for a short appearance indeed on the stage of history.

Please put your "library" in Hawaii, where palm trees can fall upon it, crashing through the elaborate "energy-conserving" windows and damaging the guttering during the next hurricane.

We are quite certain by now that there will be nothing in the building to interest the average fella, aside from heavily-redacted versions of your ongoing dealings with Eric "Hang the Ordinary Copper" Holder, who claims to be resigning but is holding on to the bitter end with all of these DOJ "investigations" against small-town departments struggling against the vast Gleichschaltung, all opposing heavy freights being switched against them in a concerted effort to destroy decency and common sense...

Takes an extraordinarily dull man to cause a massive head-on collision...

@11/27/2014 01:47:00 AM....

Where have you been? The majority of your rant has been around in one form or another for as long as I have been on the job, and that's going back to 1990.

My favorite one on your list is,
"Partners burnt out with each other because of no 3 man rotation. Many bad break ups".

Bad break ups? Aw.....well, maybe the dept could get Dr Phil on retainer so he can bring couples counseling to the most affected districts.

To 5:13 Hope you had a good Thanksgiving and were able to be with your family. It is very hard to talk about family troubles but know that your blue family cares. Don't think that your friends or partners or sgts will think that you are weak for wanting to talk. If you need to please call EAP and they are more than willing to listen, its what they do. Good wishes to you and your family this Christmas season.
