Bears Favored

Three whole points.

Bears are playing .500 ball. No one knows which Jay is going to show up. Consistency is an unknown word in the locker room. For all intents and purposes, it's a coin flip.

Blackhawks win! 3-0-1. That's all that matters.

Ol' Bronx here with his NFL prognostications. Last week 3-0 as Bears and Cowboys won outright and the Seattle/ Dallas matchup went overthe number. Don't get crazy with Ol' Bronx's picks as he's barely over .500 in picking the cover. Last week was an easy week. This week, not too easy as Miami covers and the NY Giants win outright against the Cowboys. Both games appear to be primed to go over the number. Good luck to anybody riding with 10G's picks.

I predict the PMSing, needs his 'pad' changed Jay shows up.

His bitchy interviews after a bad game are particularly entertaining.

Dolphins by 7. And a pissy-pants Cutler post-game interview.

Bears are going to have their hands full with the Dolphins. Good front-4 on both sides of the ball. Tannehill can scoot and shoot on the run.

They gave the Pack all they could handle and more than they wanted. Big mistake Dolphins made was giving Rodgers the ball with 2:15 left on the clock. Too much time for a good QB. WWAAAYYY too much time for a QB as good as Rodgers.

Go Bears!
[yep, back on the Band Wagon ;-)]

----- I don't think a win today depends so much on *which Jay shows up* (I hate sports writers) but if Matt Forte continues to run forward instead of dancing in the backfield, hesitating to hit the line, or like he's wont to do all too often -- going sideways at half speed for a 3 yard loss. Last week 'the old Matt' was running the ball, the pre-big contract Matt who still had to prove himself. That guy has to show up each week or Jay & the Offensive Line is in for a loooooog game. -----

Da Bears 35, Fins 17

[ps: I'm sick of the 'Which Jay' bulls--t by these so-called experts. Did these asshats say, 'Which Bret Favre will show up?' No. And the almighty Bret Favre was good for approx Two Interceptions per Game; One INT for every 30 pass attempts.]

It wouldn't surprise if someday we found out that Rahm had somehow some way fixed this game and made a mint doing it.

Yeah, I think he is that crooked.

I think he even fixed the Cardinals; that is who is going to replace Cardinal George.

What I don't think he believes in is Heaven or Hell or any form of human ethics.

In the 36+ years on the job I only met one (1) cop who would admit he voted for the FOP contract in 198? that had the "only $2 a paycheck" for our medical insurance.

It doesn't matter who votes;
it only maters who counts the votes.

Someone told me that Jacksonville might offer sporadic value since they're consistently (and rightfully) shithoused but are a better team than their record suggests (they just don't have it together).

The internet moneyline was +170 range on them today, didn't buy but I kinda wish I had. Rumor had it that local books were as high as +250 on the Jax game, but the existence of local books is an unsubstantiated rumor that I cannot confirm.

Oh, and for the record; as a regular sports bettor (Football, Baseball, Boxing, MMA and the nags), long term winner, and for a period of time, fed myself doing it, I would STRONGLY caution against listening to some of these bozos who regularly post 'picks'.

Its not just that their records speak for themselves, but they're very clearly fantasy prone individuals who have no whiskers in sports betting and are playing pretend.

But I want a nickname too. I shall call myself "Mister Bumming Around The $5 Window At The Track".

If the Northwestern Wildcats and the Chicago Bears traded places for a game, I doubt that anyone would notice the difference. Both teams are interchangeably bad this season.

Take any paragraph in a sports column about football and change the football team's name and there would be no difference.

Same bullshit coming from Halas Hall as coming from the Northsiders , Rebuilding , changing the organization , Retooling. Blah Blah Blah. I'm serious, I couldn't believe what I was watching, no emotion, all in slow motion -- except for D-Tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (3 1/2 Sacks) --- they must have been drugged. Which would also explain ALL the bizarre Offensive & Defensive play calling.

And Mel Tucker must have some really nasty naked pictures of somebody importent. It's the only thing that explains him being able to keep his job. The Headlines this A.M. should be that he got FIRED last night!
